Yes, they are. They make the most sense. I still think it's Flynn. Especially because of what he said in the premiere (let me know what you think once you've seen it), and judging from the deluge of Evlynn promos we're currently getting. For some reason, the promos (on all shows, not just the Librarians) are always pushing the pairing that's going to die. I just want to enjoy their love for a change, is that too much to ask?
I haven't seen the first s3 episode yet so can't comment on the tone.
I think the tone of the premiere was plenty lighthearted, actually. It was exactly what we were used to and what we expected. The tumblr fandom exploded with love over the premiere.
Ezekiel is the trickster, maybe he used his own special magic to stay out of the poll :)
