I'm an obsessive Evlynn shipper.
I will discuss everything Noah, Rebecca, Flynn and Eve with you for hours.
I like the Librarians fandom on tumblr, we're a small and friendly group, but I miss the friendships that have developed through lj/dw in my earlier fandoms and I'd love to have some of that in the Librarians, too.
Help me keep this community alive and hopefully everyone will find some friends here.

I'm not really on Tumblr in the sense that I don't post there, but I follow some pages so I see a lot of the Librarians news that way. But I'm much more used to this format! because I can never figure out what someone is replying to or what a note is or why I can't get Tumblr to show me all the results for my hashtag search and not just the top ones. Etc. Anyway, I mostly just write fic and it's on Ao3.
I hadn't watched any of the Librarian movies when this show started (I remember the first one being on and was kind of interested, but just didn't get around to it). But this looked fun, and like so many others I followed the old Leverage team over; and also I had liked King and Maxwell well enough and was sad to lose it so I followed Rebecca over from that (having started watching that in the first place because I followed Jon Tenney over from The Closer :)). But also, I remember a very young Noah from ER, and a very very young Rebecca on Just Shoot Me, because I am super old.*
*not that old. But compared to a lot of fandom - yeah.

Date: 2015-09-05 05:20 pm (UTC)I came to The Librarians following Dean Devlin, John Rogers, and Christian Kane from Leverage. I do mostly art and fic. You can find my art on Deviantart and on my Livejournal account. My fic is on Livejournal, Fanfction dot Net, and Archive of our Own.
I love all the characters, but I particularly relate to Jacob Stone because I am an artist, a medievalist, and a paleographer. So I love art history and dead languages. The fact that Latin is spattered all over the Librarians and no one usually bothers to translate it fills me with glee. If you ever want to know what it says, just ask.
I miss the ability to track and continue discussions and posts on LJ, so I hope this becomes a great community.

Hi! My name is Logan, but feel free to call me angellwings or wings or summer. I do not mind any and all have been used. I mostly write fic but sometimes make gifs and graphics. I usually posted gifs and graphics to tumblr. Nowadays I post most fan fiction to Ao3 but I do still actively post on FF.net. I tweet regularly as well! Lately I've been complete Librarians Trash so expect a lot of that.
I'm easily excitable and may type in all caps A LOT. I ship Jassandra BUT I am a ship and let ship kind of fangirl. Basically, I respect your ship and you respect my ship and as long as that happens gush about your ship all you want! I may even end up with a few ideas or head canons to toss your way. I also ship Evelynn. I love all the LiTs, however, Cassandra Cillian is my baby love and I just want to hug her all the time.
That's about it! Hoping we can all get to chatting a bit more here than we do on tumblr! Would love to get to know every one!

Date: 2015-09-05 09:38 pm (UTC)I make gifs and write fic (sadly none for Librarians yet but hopefully that might change). I flail a lot over characters and ships and really enjoy run on sentences when the occasion calls for it.
Stone is my favorite character but I recently fell in love with Baird (she's so fabulous, wow). Really though, I love everyone. I'm not actively shipping anything super strong at the moment - my ship died in season 1 and I'm still crying over Lamia. I generally avoid spoilers like the plague but once I see an episode it's pretty much a torrent of glee and me being ridiculous and excited.
Speaking of watching episodes, did I hear something about a global airing of season 2!? That would make my life a lot easier.

Me, too. I can't believe how much I am in love with him, and it hasn't changed over the course of this year. I guess I'm in for the long haul this time...

I did just join Tumblr and AO3 under the same name though so thats where I can be found.I love Rebecca and Eve is just great. Also she balances out my melting over Noah. I love Noah and am absolutely besotted with Flynn because how is it possible for someone to be that adorable! So for me Evlynn is life ^-^ But I love all the LITs and Jenkins and their little family and I can't wait to start talking to you all. Oh and Im a history major which is what got me interested in the first place. So yeah im a huge nerd. Ps. I ramble, obviously :)

He's dedicated, nerdy, and staying in school and getting twenty something degrees is totally something I would do if I could afford it.

Date: 2015-09-05 11:32 pm (UTC)My favorite character is Jake, but I enjoy the others to varying degrees. I've pretty much had it with shipping, so I'll let those who want to do it, do so, but I'm not likely to get involved in discussions of who should be together romantically, or why.
Most of what I post or reblog on Tumblr, or tweet or retweet, tend to be about Chris Colfer (actor, author, singer), and cats, and a lot of other things in between. I'm so tired of contentious fandoms, and one of the things I enjoy about The Librarians (and Leverage) is how much calmer and more polite they tend to be.
I've been involved in various fandoms for about 40 years, and saw Star Wars: A New Hope the first day it came to the theaters. I don't care that much about spoilers, but with this show, I'm not really into seeking them out. I want to watch the show, but I've learned in the past that, for me, trying to predict and dissect a scene or episode based on a spoiler or teaser clip more often leads to disappointment or frustration than anything positive. I can see why a lot of people enjoy the speculation, but it's so easy to be shown things out of context, I try to contain any excitement till I actually see the episode.
Not sure what else to tell you, but I'm looking forward to the discussions.

Date: 2015-09-06 08:52 am (UTC)I was excited for the show after Leverage and for Lindy Booth, not having (yet) seen the tv movies. I loved the first season and was very glad it was renewed. I'm excited to see how the show can develop as there's such a lot of scope for both episodic fun and character/plot arcs.
The characters are all likeable in their own ways and there are a lot of dynamics within the team relationships that can be further explored. I especially love Cassandra though, and was surprised how much I fell for Ezekiel. I would love Stone to grow his hair as per Eliot's earlier Leverage days :)
My favourite episode, hands down, is The Fables of Doom, with The Loom of Fate and The Horns of a Dilemma being other must-watch episodes.
I've read some fanfic, seen some artwork, and I've written a few fanfics (all posted at AO3 and DW)/made a couple of graphics (tumblr). It's a small fandom but a fun one from what I've seen so far. And I'm glad to see journal activity rather than just tumblr :)

Your favorite episodes are interesting choices. Fables and Horns were the two I liked least on the first viewing, but I think I just completely overlooked all the character development. I still think Horns needs to be taken with a big grain of salt (that Minotaur, honestly, it still makes me laugh :D), but I like how it seems to make mathematical sense, and it's a great Cassandra ep. The way she stands up to Eve is one of my favorite scenes of any show ever.
Fables grew on me immensely over time. I especially love how obviously queer Cassandra was shown in it. The one point I chose to take seriously amidst all the crack.
Loom is an obvious favorite. I don't think I've ever seen a finale that tied a whole season together as well as this one. Also, alternate universes, dorky Flynn, dying Eve, it just had everything.
This show just made me love all its characters, no matter that I just came for Noah and don't care for Christian Kane. They are all wonderful.

Anyway, I love The Librarians so I thought I would head over here and hopefully chat with you all about the show when it returns. My favorite characters are Flynn and Eve. My main reason for watching the show initially was for Rebecca Romijn, but I grew to love the cast as a whole.
It's nice to be able to finally use my DW account. Its been collecting dust since 2009. lol

I think this is because of her disability, since I have Tourette Syndrome (I know not the same thing, but it makes her easier for me to relate to) and also because she loves STEM and I'm a Neuroscience major in college (1 guess as to my favorite episode)!
I came to the Librarians because I first saw the Librarian movie and loved it and I knew then that I'd love the show too!

Isn't it great when you know ahead of time you'll love something? There have only been a few times when I've known, just from the first trailer or commercial about a new show, that it's exactly my kind of thing!

I started watching the show, because I loved the movies and the awesomeness that is Flynn Carsen. But I love all the characters (not as much as Flynn though) and you can basically sell me (almost) every ship. As I am very easy to influence with these things and it is basically Canon, Evlynn is my favourite.

I am a total Evlynn shipper, too, and Flynn is my favorite, as well. I find that the other characters are all really interesting, too, though, because the show is just so well written.

My dreamwidth is basically currently a collection of several years' worth of Dear Author letters for various fic exchanges I have participated in with scattered attempts and actually using it. We'll see if this changes that?
In real life, I want to be a teacher, I think. I have a BA in English and Philosophy (Concentration: Religious Studies). My current job is in a cemetery office where I deal with an ancient card catalog every single day of my life.
Now stuff about The Librarians:
I watched this show back just after it had come out. I really enjoyed it, and Santa's Midnight Run had me laughing until I cried. But the first time, it was just something I filed away for later. I liked it, but it just occurred to me a few weeks ago that I should check when it was coming back because I still had a very vague interest in it and I wanted a lower-commitment live action thing to watch among all my recent anime-fanning.
Then I rewatched S1.
And... I don't know. It just worked this time. I have always loved shows that have this kind of tone where the stakes are real and serious but the scenarios are beautifully campy and trope-y. I have also been in a big mood about magic's intersection with the modern world, so this just was perfect timing for me to fall in love with something I always liked.
I love gen and team-building/found family stuff, so I love that aspect of this show. I am a multishipper and can get along with most things. However, I am ridiculously invested in Casekiel at the moment. I am also interested in LiTs OT3, too, and when skimming this blog I saw someone mention Jake/Eve/Flynn and I gotta mull that over because hmm. I also really like Eve/Flynn. I am really friendly, though, so different shipping preferences don't bother me at all!
If really pressed and I had to pick one favorite Librarian, Ezekiel is my baby. But I love everyone. I also have a vested interest in Lamia coming back, even though that's not looking good. I really want to know what Santa knew about her, and I think seeing a "redemption arc" from her would be really interesting.
My favorite (so far) episodes are And the Heart of Darkness and And the Loom of Fate, but again I love everything. I am so excited about time-loop-where-Ezekiel-remembers episode that's coming up. It sounds like everything I have ever wanted.
So yeah, that's me!
